That was fun!

A bunch of us met up last night at the Bedford Public Library to talk about Meshtastic. The event was hosted by the GSARA Ham Radio Club and about 60 people showed up.

After a brief presentation, we split into groups and started hacking on Meshtastic a bit, loading firmware, setting up our NHMesh channel, and generally messing around with the hardware.

We had a few different stations set up with different configurations of Meshtastic hardware. J showed off his latest and greatest solar node, a custom build. And we marveled at a path light conversion into a "stealth node".

A new Meshtastic user went home with a "donated" node to put up on his hill and it's already up, running and helping the network out. Other offers were made, that if you live at elevation and are willing to run a node, we may have a few extra nodes that need a home. Reach out.

If you have a node, and would like to offer it to someone with height, but maybe no device budget, please let us know.

Hopefully, last night was the first of many meetups. I know for one, I'll be meeting up the MHT crew that Adam mentioned meets regularly (more info as they provide).

Please use ada@nehmesh.com for any questions/comments/suggestions until I wrangle that "feedback" form into gear.
